Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Education Program Coordinator to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As an Education Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Admissions Office and Recruitment team with administrative duties, customer service, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, visitors, and faculty through various communication channels.
  • Process applications accurately and efficiently, including uploading and tracking requirements such as Dean's Certifications.
  • Manage pre-matriculation tracking process, including transcripts, Wisconsin Residency status, and other requirements.
  • Maintain records and applicant files in accordance with institutional standards.
  • Coordinate events, including admissions interview days, Second Look Days, and other applicant programming.
  • Lead event coordination, including coordinating SOM campus visit/events and tours.
  • Present information sessions and facilitate individual advising sessions for prospective applicants.
  • Coordinate writing letters of support for students.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures.
  • Prepare and compose general and confidential correspondence.
  • Coordinate calendar of events, appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience; 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications.
