This Head of Human Resources will serve as the organizations highest ranking HR executive and drive strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, total rewards, and compliance.


Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Implement onboarding programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires and promote employee engagement and retention.


Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Advise management and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and regular communication channels.


Performance Management and Development:

  • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities to support employee skill development and career advancement.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Partner with finance and senior management to manage budgeting and forecasting for HR-related expenses.


HR Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of substantive experience in HR management
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
