About the job
The regional sales manager will provide strategic leadership and direction in defining practices and processes for Hoymiles’ market development in US. Reporting to the Division manager, and will manage the organization’s approach to fostering and building on existing relationships with current clients, communities, and businesses.
This position will work collaboratively with operational and functional services leadership across the organization to achieve goals including: engagement with clients and organizations and also collaborate with business developers, sector leaders and marketing personnel and will assist with new relationship development and client interface.
Key responsibilities:
Provides strategic leadership and direction to define practices and processes for Hoymiles’ market development;
Participates in short and long-range planning, establishing organizational priorities;
Establishes strategic operational plans and objectives and effectively communicates to supporting staff;
Engages and seeks collaboration with national and global leaders in strategy and practice, gaining an understanding of
trends and developments and how they may impact Hoymiles, our clients, and our partners;
Provides advice and guidance to leadership and management teams depending on circumstances;
Represents Hoymiles at industry events, conferences, including as a speaker or panelist.
Creates and maintains effective working relationships with Hoymiles business developers, relationship managers, and
account managers working on focused projects and initiatives;
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company and
organizational objectives;
Supports Hoymiles practitioners to develop effective, respectful and sustainable relationships with communities,
organizations and businesses, developing an understanding of their needs, priorities and activities so that Hoymiles can
continue to grow as a thought leader and solution provider;
Provides direction, reviews and evaluates work, delegates authority instructions and other guidelines;
Builds strong and effective relationships, earning the confidence and respect from internal and external stakeholders such
as, clients, industry partners and associations, business unit leaders;
Performs other related duties as assigned by the company.
Required experience and competence:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in office management; A degree or certification with Business Administration is
preferred;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications is required;
Strong desire to learn with the ability to be accountable for own work;
Previous solar industry experience is preferred;
Able to be self driven, fast learner, organized;
Travel within the US will be required;
