Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Torrance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the Central Region.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets across product lines, market areas, and channels.
  • Manage a team of manufacturer's representation network to ensure effective sales execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities and increase market share.
  • Collect and report information on competitive activity, sales trends, and results within the assigned region.
  • Participate in sales activities, including customer site visits, trade seminars, and product demonstrations.
  • Develop and maintain collateral materials to articulate the value proposition of our products.
  • Manage special price requests and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, with at least 8 years of related experience.
  • Strong MS Office and Salesforce software skills.
  • Industry knowledge and business acumen in military sales.
  • Proven track record of success developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience working within an S&OP business process framework.
  • Ability to present sales strategies to all levels of management.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate sales.
  • Contract analysis and management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Clear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to challenge assumptions and communicate vision and purpose.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and challenging targets.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Track record of growing sales and minimizing price erosion.
  • Experience selling at multiple levels within customer organizations.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
