Account Executive for Infor ERP Solutions (New Business - Distribution and Manufacturing industries)


Description & Requirements:

Fusionary seeks a dynamic Account Executive to join our expanding sales team, specializing in net-new business development within Distribution and Manufacturing sectors. This pivotal role centers on promoting and selling Infor ERP industrial Account Manager solutions. We require a resilient and proactive professional proficient in consultative sales, adept at cultivating enduring client relationships to propel ERP growth among enterprise-level clientele


Infor provides customized manufacturing solutions for diverse sectors like automotive, aerospace, high tech, and industrial machinery. Their ERP software optimizes operations, improves visibility, and boosts efficiency in manufacturing. It includes features such as supply chain management, product lifecycle management, quality control, and shop floor management tools. Infor's focus on innovation and adaptability enables businesses to enhance production, cut costs, and maintain competitiveness in dynamic markets.


Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office, Grand Rapids, MI. - other locations will be considered based on experience 


Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities, executing strategic pursuit plans to drive business growth.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Infor ERP industrial solutions, highlighting competitive advantages to clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Develop compelling value propositions based on thorough ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Devise customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans, maintaining robust communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Conduct negotiations on pricing and contractual agreements to facilitate successful sales closures.
  • Generate and maintain a 5x pipeline, consistently achieving or surpassing quarterly quota targets.
  • Conduct Sales to Service transition meetings. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in selling complex enterprise software systems.
  • Familiarity with Infor’s enterprise software competition.
  • Proven ability to establish and manage executive-level customer relationships.
  • Track record of managing multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales success.
  • History of achieving or exceeding assigned quotas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Expert knowledge of large enterprise business processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience selling into distribution and manufacturing industries.
