Senior Business Development Manager

Houston, TX


Our client, a staffing and recruiting firm, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead all facets of developing new business for the company's Industrial Market. This manager will execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive increased revenue growth for the company and assist in developing strategies to create new business opportunities, retain current profitable clients, and grow market share.


Responsibilities:

  • Executes the business development plan to generate revenue in the Heavy and Light Industrial market
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement
  • Identifies, evaluates, and executes new business opportunities aligned with the company's overall strategy
  • Works with internal stakeholders to understand the company's strengths and value proposition to execute sales strategies that result in sustainable and profitable growth
  • Provides weekly updates on the progress of initiatives against the set strategic objectives
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Assist Operations with input preparing revenue forecast by Client for assigned region annually
  • Understand market conditions and bill rates for bidding projects
  • Monitors the brand visibility and ensures that market share targets are met
  • Proactively builds positive relationships inside and outside the organization to support the company strategy and vision
  • Sets and implements ambitious standards for customer satisfaction and service delivery
  • Attend off site meetings, roundtables, job fairs, client functions and other opportunities


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Management, Marketing, or Communication but will consider other majors
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably 10 years in the following: Industrial Staffing OR Subcontractor to the Heavy Industrial Market
