Job Overview: PalletTrader s looking for a high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR at PalletTrader, you will be the front line of our sales process, responsible for generating and qualifying leads, and setting the stage for our sales executives to close deals. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels including social media, industry events, and online research.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to engage with prospects and generate interest in PalletTrader's solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our services.
  • Engage current customers to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
  • Work closely with sales team to develop account intelligence, identify key decision makers and develop relationship maps
  • Schedule meetings and demos for PalletTrader sales team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team members to align on campaign strategies and provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Maintain a database of contact information and sales activity in our CRM system



Job Requirements:

  • Proven understanding of effective use of core sales tools
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by PalletTrader
  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead

Additional Qualifications:

  • 1- 2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience making/managing high call/contact volumes daily
  • Strong phone and live/in-person presence
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and improve. Resilient and able to handle rejection.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Inspire the trust of others; work with integrity and ethically; uphold organizational values
