Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, versatile professional for a dual role as Human Resources (HR) Manager and Executive Administrative Assistant. This role combines strategic HR leadership with high-level executive support, providing essential services to our organization and direct support to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and adept in HR practices, with the ability to communicate effectively and handle multifaceted tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Management (Primary Function)

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Administer employee benefits and maintain HR systems in line with legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and best practices to align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and act as a trusted advisor for employees and management.
  • Oversee performance management, employee training, and development programs to support staff growth and company objectives.

Executive Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Team, including calendar management and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare business reports, meeting summaries, and PowerPoint presentations for executive use.
  • Assist with executive communications, ensuring timely and clear correspondence between the CEO and internal or external stakeholders.
  • Support strategic initiatives by conducting research, organizing project documentation, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Serve as a central point of communication between the CEO and team members, fostering alignment on company priorities and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 1 year in a managerial or senior HR role.
  • Previous experience supporting executive-level leaders is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, payroll systems, benefits administration, and employment law.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in creating presentations in PowerPoint and proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Salary Range

For the Indianapolis area, this dual role typically commands a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, with opportunities for performance-based incentives.
