ABOUT THE ROLE

The HR Associate will work closely with the VP, Talent and Culture to administer human resources initiatives for our fast-paced and growing organization. This position will be responsible for leading onboarding activities for new hires, managing benefits and leave administration, as well as various talent and culture initiatives. This position will play a part in helping to maintain a first-class, employee-first culture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Onboarding
  • Lead the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Complete background checks, E-Verify, and all preboarding activities.
  • Communicate with new hires throughout the process to ensure positive candidate experiences.
  • Complete regular check-ins throughout new hires first 90 days.
  • Continuously update the onboarding program to ensure a best-in-class experience.
Benefits
  • Assist in all benefit activities for new hires.
  • Update benefit information and data as needed in employee navigator and Paylocity.
  • Assist with the open enrollment process.
  • Oversee various benefit compliance activities as required.
  • Manage leave administration activities.
  • Answer benefit questions and update third-party consultants as needed.
  • Highlight benefits on a regular basis and provide continuous updates to showcase our benefits internally.
  • Provide payroll updates and backup payroll as needed.
Recruiting
  • Attend college career fairs and facilitate the selection process of early talent.
  • Update Paylocity ATS inputting candidates, notes, and templates as needed.
  • Assist with creating interview guides and calendar notifications for managers.
  • Coordinate interviews.
Talent and Culture Initiatives
  • Provide input with the employee newsletter content and other communication.
  • Help facilitate employee engagement activities.
  • Lead the employee recognition program (DECK).
  • Facilitate talent and culture events and activities.
  • Lead various wellness initiatives.
Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING
  • BS degree in Human Resources or other related field.
  • 3+ years in an HR support role with experience in benefits, onboarding, and recruiting.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and have a high attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and a people-first mentality

Reports To: VP, Talent & Culture

Working Hours: Normal working hours with an understanding that occasional work will be required outside of business hours. Ambrose maintains an in-person work environment five days a week.
