HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an HR Generalist for a direct hire, permanent placement with a manufacturing client situated in the Northeast corner of Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves managing essential HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll processing for a facility with around 75 employees. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $50,000 to 60,000 per year and includes several medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

Responsibilities:
· Lead the recruitment process and collaborate with managers to identify needed skills.
· Ensure compliance with training and ISO certification requirements.
· Implement orientation and recognition programs.
· Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
· Carry out HR responsibility for compensation, benefits, leave, and employee related questions.
· Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Stay updated on HR trends and best practices.
· Ensure compliance with employment laws and review policies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
· 2+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment desired
· SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
· Experience with payroll processing and/or Paycom is highly desirable
