We're looking to expand our team with a highly motivated, networked, and proactive New Business Developer to drive growth.



Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced New Business Developer who is passionate about branding and marketing. The ideal candidate will not only generate leads but also possess a deep understanding of branding and marketing strategies. Your ability to cultivate new relationships and leverage your professional network will be key in helping us expand our client base and create new opportunities.


Here are some of the responsibilities for the position:

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in branding, creative, and marketing sectors.
  • Leverage your professional network to develop relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic proposals that align with client needs and agency strengths.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to anticipate market shifts and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, following up with timely and effective communication.
  • Work closely with leadership to set revenue goals, develop sales strategies, and report on progress regularly.
  • Represent Dovetail at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services.
  • You're always striving to do what's right, naturally fostering trust with colleagues and prioritizing the success of the company and the team. With empathy and integrity, you ensure what you do reflects our values and benefits our clients.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within a branding, creative, or marketing agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly to clients.
  • Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • A well-established professional network with decision-makers in relevant industries.
  • Highly proactive with a strong work ethic and a self-starting attitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
