MEF is looking for an events manager to help plan and execute our Global NaaS Event, 28-30 October in Dallas, Texas This 3–4-month contractor project is ideal for a seasoned events professional who is self-motivated with experience leading large scale events (+500 attendees), a proven track record of flawless execution managing all pre-event details and on-site delivery. The candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication and project management skills to ensure all details and timelines are met from our internal team, vendors, and sponsors.

 

You will manage all logistics associated with the event, including sponsor management (25-30 sponsors); hotel logistics: schedule of events/run-of-show plans, room block management, F&B, signage, innovation stations; work closely with all vendors to manage production and on-time delivery; Cvent registration management; event app; reg reports; manage executive speakers; assist with press & media coordination; work closely with sponsors to collect speaker assets; and coordinate planning calls with executive speakers and internal team as necessary.

 

You should demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced global environment, striking the right balance of knowledge and judgement to make high-impact decisions.

 

Tools: Cvent, Trello, Teams, Salesforce

 

Time commitment: Approximately 30-hours per week leading up to the event and paid travel for on-site execution October 26-30 in Dallas, TX.  Start date approximately August 2024.
