This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily sales and execution of venue rentals and external gatherings across all STC facilities, including our two theaters and rehearsal spaces, from the initial inquiry to the successful conclusion of each event.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the individual in this position will be responsible for marketing, recruiting, and securing event and performance venues for a diverse range of functions, including corporate, consumer, governmental, and artistic events, all aimed at achieving and surpassing financial targets.

The Event Operations Manager will collaborate closely with dedicated production and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless operations for all events, guiding clients through every stage of their experience from inquiry to execution and final invoicing.

This is a full-time role offering competitive benefits and an annual salary range of $65,000 - $70,000.

The ideal candidate will possess a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating the ability to work effectively across various teams and departments, coupled with outstanding sales and hospitality expertise.

We seek an independent and confident sales professional or event manager who has a solid understanding of both theatrical and non-theatrical events, along with a flexible approach to their work.

This position necessitates a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and requires 3-5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with backgrounds in sales, event management, and hospitality are particularly encouraged to consider this opportunity, including those with experience as catering account executives, hotel sales leaders, and destination marketing professionals.

Familiarity with performing arts management, including contract negotiation and budgeting, as well as a passion for the arts, is preferred. This role will primarily be conducted on-site, with occasional opportunities for remote work.
