Job Description:

  • Permanent position based remotely anywhere in USA, Canada or LATAM.


You will support the Head of Metals & Mining in growing the practice in expanding the practice by leading commercial and strategy consultancy projects across the M&M sector in North and Latin America, emphasizing on energy transition topics.


Main Responsibilities:


1.Client and Business Development

  • Develop and maintain relationships to understand client needs and create consulting opportunities.
  • Lead and review consulting proposals to deliver strategic value.
  • Foster long-term client relationships and collaborate on opportunity scoping and fee estimation.
  • Engage in industry events to network and drive consulting project success.


2.Project Delivery

  • Oversee client relationships and manage project scope to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Direct client projects, ensuring valuable insights and supporting strategic decisions.
  • Guide project managers through the entire project lifecycle, especially for complex engagements.


3.Practice Development

  • Mentor consultants and support the expansion of the consulting practice.
  • Contribute to the development of new consulting services and lead project reviews for continuous improvement.


4.People Development and Thought Leadership

  • Mentor consulting staff, focusing on skills development and performance.
  • Develop innovative industry insights and thought leadership to add client value.


5.Communication and Approach

  • Stay updated on metals and mining trends to identify opportunities and provide valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with project teams and utilize strategic intelligence for problem-solving.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or any relevant degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in management or energy-focused consulting, with a strong track record in business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the M&M value chain and energy transition implications.
  • Proven track record in building client relationships and business development.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
