Our client, a global leader in performance improvement solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to join their team. This is a chance to work with top brands, contribute to high-profile projects, and make a meaningful difference in the world of work.
The successful candidate can be based in one of these cities: Dallas, TX; Stamford, CT; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; Plano, TX; Chicago, IL; Morriston, NJ; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Washington DC
What You'll Do:
- New business development selling marketing solutions or professional business services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and understand their critical business strategies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and execute solutions that utilize the principles of behavioral economics to drive measurable results.
- Engage, motivate, and inspire employees, sales teams, channel partners, and customers to achieve peak performance.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of seven years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
- Proven track record of new business development and growing revenue in large accounts.
- Experience selling marketing solutions or professional business services.
- Large volume sales experience ($250k+ per sale).
- Experience with long and complex sales cycles (3-12 months).
- History of career stability (no more than 3 employers in the last 10 years).
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web applications.
