  • Assist in establishing new funds
  • Financial Analysis & Financial Recordkeeping

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
  • Associate Degree in Accounting, business or in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience, preferably with a non-profit organization.
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal & State rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Teams) and Fund Accounting / ERP software systems and applications.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a non-profit or higher education institution.
  • Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge fund accounting software.
