Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all general accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
2. Supervise and lead the accounting team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
3. Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial and accounting processes.
4. Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports, statements, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
5. Conduct financial forecasting to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state financial regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
2. CPA certification required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
4. Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
5. Familiarity with automated financial reporting systems.
6. Proficient in financial data analysis and forecasting techniques.
