Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our AR department, optimize cash flow, and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all AR functions, including invoicing, collections, and cash application
  • Manage and develop AR staff, implementing efficient workflows and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
  • Analyze and report on AR metrics, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and aging reports
  • Implement strategies to reduce bad debt and improve collection rates
  • Reconcile AR accounts and assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes
  • Maintain and improve customer credit policies and approval processes
  • Oversee the maintenance of customer accounts and credit files
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of AR experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in AR management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
