Technical Program Manager (Java/ J2EE, Azure / Terraform)

Job Description:
- 16+ years of experience in managing distributed teams (onshore/offshore model) and good experience in program management.
- Primary function includes Program Management, Client Management and Team Leadership.
- Must have good understanding of Java/J2EE based technologies (API Design, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, Microservices, Azure, UML, JUnit, Mocking frameworks), ReactJS and Cloud/Azure concepts.
- Strong Expertise on Java/J2EE based technologies (API Design, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Kotlin, Microservices, Azure, UML, JUnit, Mocking frameworks), ReactJS and Cloud/Azure concepts.
- Strong Expertise in DevOps with hands-on experience in Terraform and Kubernetes, along with experience on cloud infrastructure and application migrations
- Experience with Azure technologies: Azure AD, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Recovery Service Vault, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Monitor, Azure Public/Private DNS, vNet (Peering) and Azure VPN, WebApps, ARM, CLI
- Strong stakeholder management skills, effectively navigate through different levels of customers.
- Strong reporting skills, able to present program status tracking reporting and highlighting risks in a timely manner.
- Participate in Architectural discussions at program level and ensure the implementation at Scrum team level.
- Assist the Architect group during creation of Architectural Roadmap.
- Guide the project team to estimate accurately and decide the PI Objectives during Planning meeting.
- Lead complex projects/programs from conceptual design to implementation.
- Own the application development lifecycle and leverage Agile/Iterative methodology to deliver software systems in short but progressive and impactful cycles.
- Manage project priorities and resource assignments to ensure adequate resources are available for successful projects
- Scope project work through discovery of business requirements, non-functional requirements and translation to technical work effort, SDLC project plans and work breakdown scheduling.
- Manage project work in alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW) obligations and ensure accurate team reporting of billable hours for efficient client invoicing against the project budget on a periodical basis.
- Initiate, evaluate & execute change management in the current project scope.
- Have hands on experience in Agile preferably SAFE environment.
- Have experience of coordinating onshore/offshore teams.
- Confident, articulate and desire to grow and learn.
