Position: Sales Account Director
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary Range: 140-170k Base + Bonus
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales within the IT services industry (Selling AI, Devops/cloud, Data integration)
- Proven experience in a role involving account mining/farming, hunting, sales, and business development, preferably in the IT services industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Has current relationships / experience working with Wells Fargo
Day to Day:
Our client is a New York-based information technology and consulting company focused on the financial services industry including capital markets, insurance, banking, cards & payments and digital. Seeking a seasoned Business Development Leader to join their team. They need a versatile individual to fill a hybrid role encompassing account mining/farming, hunting, within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain in the IT services industry. Develop and execute strategies for account mining/farming, hunting, sales, and business development to drive revenue growth and expansion within the BFSI domain. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients through account mining/farming activities, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Proactively prospect and acquire new clients through hunting activities, targeting key accounts in the BFSI sector. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceed client expectations. Stay abreast of industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies and seize opportunities.
