Blue Harlan is the recruitment partner to an art and graphics production company with a modern, state-of-the-art facility whose team has a passion for setting the highest standards in the printing and framing industry.


Utilizing cutting-edge technology the company is known by architects, designers and art consultants as the go-to printer for hospitality jobs, museum exhibitions, trade shows and events working with clients both domestically and internationally.


The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts to achieve company goals. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong sales skills and a passion for building relationships with clients.


You will prospect and acquire new customers to deliver meaningful and profitable sales growth while working in tandem with production team members and sales staff, as one team, to meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Create prospecting strategies to acquire new customers and develop new sales channels to build a substantial book of business from the ground up.
  • Sell custom printing, framing and other services.
  • Identify profitable growth opportunities through research and market potential assessments.
  • Execute strategic plans to drive sales growth with each account.
  • Uncover needs and opportunities and align client expectations with company resources and capabilities during the life of the customer relationship.
  • Build and develop strong business relationships with buyers and all decision makers within identified accounts, always seeking opportunities to gain market share.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales and project management process from lead generation through project completion and collections.
  • Maintain a knowledge of external market factors, including competitive information that may affect account decisions, pricing and product recommendations.
  • Demonstrate the daily discipline and desire to achieve goals with limited guidance, taking responsibility for all results.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development and project management
  • Strong ability to influence buying decisions and negotiate effectively, to bring about win-win solutions
  • Creative thinking skills - bringing fresh perspective & new ideas
  • Capable of selling to high-level management as well as day-to-day contacts
  • Highly developed analytical skills, detail-oriented problem-solver, organized
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings, prospecting, events, and client interaction (10% - 15%)
  • Existing network of clients in the printing, framing or hospitality industries a plus
  • Strong computer skills required, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Zoom
  • Track record of successfully and profitably completing projects on time
  • Previous experience in printing, design or art consulting a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university
