Job Description:

Pearl Consulting Group is seeking a versatile and dynamic Technical Project Manager to join our team, specializing in Threat and Vulnerability Management, Privacy, Risk, and GDPR compliance. This role will leverage industry-leading products to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance our services and protect our users, devices, networks, applications, and data. You will oversee network and infrastructure security services, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, manage risk across all technical projects, and lead initiatives in Identity and Access Management. We seek a candidate skilled in current technologies and eager to learn more about machine learning and AI within the cybersecurity space. The ideal candidate will have a technology-driven approach grounded in people and process, committed to building and managing comprehensive security and privacy programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the protection of networks, storage, servers, and endpoints, and co-manage solutions with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP), utilizing advanced security technologies.
  • Drive excellence across engineering practices through partnership and oversight of in-house and external support resources.
  • Foster strong relationships with MSSP engineers and key support personnel to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide input to ensure Threat and Vulnerability Management security technologies, including those for cloud-native application protection and security monitoring, are maturing and operating optimally.
  • Implement and manage micro segmentation strategies to isolate workloads and secure critical assets.
  • Utilize and enforce Zero Trust Architecture principles to minimize security risks and enhance access controls.
  • Manage, configure, and monitor systems associated with Threat and Vulnerability Management solutions; provide incident and problem management support.
  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
  • Utilize project management tools to track project progress, manage timelines, and report on project status.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in risk, privacy, and GDPR, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and risk management frameworks.
  • Communicate project-related activities with vendors, Information Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Work in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Perform post-conversion analysis, problem determination, resolution, and other customer support and consulting as required.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk assessments, developing and implementing privacy and data protection policies.
  • Leverage AI and automation technologies to enhance cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, response, and remediation.
  • Develop and implement AI-based solutions for real-time threat intelligence, predictive analytics, and automated vulnerability management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Significant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNP, CISM, CISSP, CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with security operations/engineering and understanding of securing public cloud environments, (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with advanced security technologies and platforms used in Threat and Vulnerability Management.
  • Proficiency in security technologies such as Zscaler, Illumio, CrowdStrike, Saviynt, CyberArk, Rapid7, and similar.
  • Experience leading technical teams in designing, implementing, and operating information security solutions across multiple security domains for complex, multinational companies.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity solutions in mission-critical, 24x7 production environments.
  • Familiarity with defense-in-depth concepts and supporting security technologies, including endpoint protection, zero trust network access, vulnerability management, browser isolation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure web gateways, cloud access security brokers, micro segmentation, and security information and event management.
  • Experience in driving continuous service and process improvements and translating them into viable solutions.
  • Three or more years of experience in project management, focusing on risk management, privacy, and GDPR compliance preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
  • Experience with risk management, privacy compliance, and data protection tools and platforms such as ServiceNow, OneTrust, TrustArc, RSA Archer, BigID, etc.
