Senior Project Manager

Type: 5+ Month Contract

Location: Downtown Chicago, IL

Additional notes: This role is hybrid 2/3 days a week onsite at the client’s downtown Chicago Location.


This individual will align and execute project plans according to the project Plan and timelines for the Digital Transformation group. These projects focus on Data Platform, Analytics and cloud.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of Software Project Management experience including data specific products/projects
  • Experience with Smartsheets, JIRA and Confluence
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Prior experience deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate resources, establish deadlines and assign responsibilities


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Tracking the progress of projects and compiles status reports for senior management
  • Building a working relationship with team members, vendors and other departments involved in the projects
  • Proactively performing risk management and identify issues across functions and inter-dependent efforts
  • Effectively communicating program level status to multiple stakeholders at varying levels within the organization
  • Setting and continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
