Responsibilities:
Ensure payroll is complete and distributed
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Manage employee benefit programs including health insurance, 401K, and retirement plans
Handle open enrollment, benefit changes, and termination of benefits
Maintain and update employee records
Conduct performance evaluations
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process
Ensure all benefits are within regulatory compliance and are cost effective
Manage relationships with benefits brokers, payroll administrators, and third-party vendors
Assist with audit requests as needed
Process unemployment claims, workers compensation claims, and verifications of employment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field required or relevant work experience is required
Must be bilingual Spanish and English
3-5 years of strong HR experience is required
Experience with ADP is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Namely or other related HRIS systems
Strong attention to detail
Employment Type: Contract to Hire, Full time
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay rate: $25-$30
