Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Bilingual Communication Specialist in Speech Therapy to support local K-12 students in Spanish. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BILINGUAL COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations and therapy in both English and Spanish
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA certification
  • State Speech Language Pathology License
It is essential for all Speech Language Pathologists to possess a state license. If you currently lack a license for a specific state, our licensing team at PDS will assist you throughout the process.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILINGUAL COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

As a Bilingual Communication Specialist, your daily responsibilities will involve improving the lives of children. Supporting their success in both educational and personal settings is meaningful work that contributes to a fulfilling career.

You will deliver high-quality services to students in accordance with their IEPs/504 plans. By conducting evaluations, assessments, and preparing reports, you will identify their strengths and areas needing improvement in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
