Leading Utility company is seeking a highly motivated and capable Senior IT Program Manager to join their team. As a Senior IT Program Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple IT project teams and programs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. They are looking for exceptional PowerPoint skills, project management, the ability to present complex business problems and solutions, and vendor management experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements. Develop detailed project plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet deliverables. Track progress, lead meetings, and manage follow-ups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor management strategy. Create and maintain a centralized database of vendor information, establish strong vendor relationships, and monitor performance. Provide leadership to the vendor management team and collaborate with IT, sourcing, and legal teams.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative culture. Liaise with various departments to align project goals with business objectives. Serve as the main point of contact for project inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders. Facilitate meetings and ensure clear delivery of information.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Track financial performance, perform variance analysis, and ensure alignment with program goals and financial targets.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT program/project management.
  • Proven experience in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
