Sales Account Executive

Gate Sentry was founded by former Corporate leaders, property managers, and security experts who were frustrated with existing access control systems. These systems often offered all-in-one solutions that failed to address the specifics of each property type. Leveraging years of firsthand experience, our founders developed Gate Sentry, an access control solution that delivers customized features designed to navigate the specific challenges and preferences of each property type, ensuring a seamless and effective access control solution.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced End-to-End Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team as the Founding AE at Gate Sentry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, specifically focused on selling our access control software solutions. Experience with business development, account management, and HubSpot are a must. This is a hybrid position located in Southlake, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Full Sales Cycle: Take full responsibility for all stages of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Communicate with Clients: Engage with clients currently in the pipeline and conduct cold calls to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Understand Industry & Client Needs: Identify and address the specific needs and challenges of clients within the industry.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas through proactive prospecting, lead qualification, and consultative selling.
- Leverage Sales Tools: Utilize HubSpot and other tools to manage leads, track opportunities, and optimize sales workflows.
- Handle Long Sales Cycles: Effectively manage longer sales processes, drawing on experience with extended sales cycles.
- Deliver Product Demonstrations: Conduct impactful product demonstrations and create detailed sales proposals and quotations.
- Build Key Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with multi-family residences, HOAs, country clubs, resorts, and business corporations.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to drive customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Travel as Needed: Attend client meetings, conferences, summits, and sales events to foster relationships and drive sales growth.
Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of successful sales experience covering all aspects of the sales cycle with a proven track record in relevant industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Competitive spirit with a drive for financial success and achievement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a consultative and relationship-focused approach.
- Coachable with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and commute to the Southlake office as needed.
