Our client is a leading name in the automotive industry, renowned for its innovative designs and high-performance vehicles. Through an expansion in their operations, they are looking for a self-motivated and energetic Head of Marketing to join them in driving their brand forward in the North American market.


Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be crucial in planning and executing all communication, press, and media activities. You will work closely with external agency partners, and media to optimize the brand’s public perception and ensure consistent, impactful messaging.


Your new role

  • Manage Marketing Budget: Oversee and allocate the marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals
  • Event Organization: Plan and execute events, manage local agency contracts, lead generation campaigns, dealer incentives, and social media initiatives
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, press releases, and internal communications
  • Website Management: Ensure all local website content is up-to-date and aligns with brand standards
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure central developments meet market requirements while contributing creatively to support the central brand team
  • PR and Influencer Program: Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Brand Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in working in traditional and digital marketing roles, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of managing media relations and working with corporate partners
  • Strong understanding of automotive culture and markers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as using presentation skills to influence decision makers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective communication plans
