Located in Old Town Scottsdale, JR Capital is a rapidly growing commercial finance organization dedicated to serving America’s small business owners. Who you are:

The Sales team is responsible for growing JR Capital’s customer base and revenue through the sale of commercial financing products. As an Account Executive, you will focus on prospecting and driving originations through direct end-users and vendor channels. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying financing opportunities.

Day to day, you will be focused on identifying and prospecting potential clients. You will be creating and nurturing relationships with business owners. Through a consultative approach, you will assess the needs of business owners and provide capital solutions to help them achieve their goals. As an Account Executive, you will learn through direct mentorship and training tools how to successfully build value, articulate our value proposition in competitive situations and close transactions.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead generation and prospecting small businesses.
  • Learn every aspect of an equipment financing transaction.
  • Research prospective clients and identify their business needs.
  • Outreach to the prospective client via phone, and email.
  • Support Business Development as needed on their mission to grow transaction volume of their accounts.
  • Meet sales goals and expectations as determined by management.


We’re looking for someone with:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of applicable work and/or internship experience preferred.
  • 1+ year sales or experience carrying a revenue target with a track record of top performance preferred.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
  • Leader with a demonstrated capacity to motivate and work well with others.
  • Proficient with MS office products and Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Coachable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
