Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration for all employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with weekly payroll processing and proficiency in UKG Payroll systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Administration:
  • Process weekly payrolls for a diverse employee base with high accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Oracle Payroll System Management:
  • Utilize UKG Payroll systems to manage payroll functions and resolve system-related issues.
  • Generate payroll reports and analyze data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees, management, and regulatory agencies regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline payroll operations.
  • Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and accurate data integration.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff and assist in their training and development.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll experience with a focus on weekly payroll processing.
  • Proven experience with UKG Payroll systems is required.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
