We are hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager, in Bloomington, MN.

In this general manager position you are responsible for the success of a key Global Strategic Category within the Americas - kimchi and chilled products.

This position develops and executes category mid and long-term total value chain strategies, develops sales structures, and monitoring to support category performance.

This position provides strategic view and insights to help the category business achieve growth goals successfully, partnering closely with each business function.

Responsibilities


Responsible for driving our US Kimchi enterprise level strategy and pipelines of innovation by applying consumer/market insights and strategic frameworks.


Future proofing/ spotting trends for Kimchi, fermented and chilled products that could have a big impact on our business in the future.


Responsible for all aspects of business in order to accelerate growth of the category, partnering with marketing, sales, supply chain, and R&D.


Ensure the alignment and coordination of tactical and functional roadmap, including innovation, product road map, supply plan, capital investment, etc.


Responsible for full alignment with the Global Strategic Category organization at CJ headquarters and influence global strategic view to the CJ HQ team.

Monitor performance, competitive activity, and trends to evaluate business performance in the context of external environment. Make proactive recommendations for course-correction as necessary.


Leverage category assessment and consumer insights to advance development of the portfolio and technology roadmap in collaboration with key value chains.

Develop strong working relationships and lead continuous communication efforts between businesses and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience developing and commercializing innovation in retail and foodservice in the chilled category

Experience and knowledge in supply chain, specifically chilled category

Experience in marketing (brand marketing, product marketing, research), key account management, strategy, or business management and sales

Experience in innovation and new product development from idea through commercialization

Experience managing projects with multiple functions

Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills

General management mindset, positive attitude, ability to navigate ambiguity, self-starter, resilient in face of change

Competency in establishing strategy based on consumer insights, trend catching, and business analysis

Interest in building and managing global business; Fluency in English required
