Job Summary

Event support volunteers aka Team Vibes will be responsible for email sign-ups, engaging with the public, outdoor set-up, counting participants, and other tasks assigned by Duye Staff. Previous experience in promotional or customer service roles is required.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Outdoor set-up/breakdown; lay out blankets, pillow, baby drums/djembes, etc.
  • Engage with the public in a friendly and approachable manner to promote our events
  • Keep count of participants
  • Distribute promotional materials such as flyers and brochures
  • Participate in dance/art classes, if needed
  • Email Sign-ups; collect contact information from interested visitors
  • Provide feedback and insights gathered from interactions with the public to improve future promotional efforts

Who would be suited for this role?

This role would suit an energetic and outgoing individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable engaging with the public and can work as a team player. We defintely encourage applying if you like dance and/or art, but not at all required Applicants should be 18 or older and can attend our orientation.

When?

Events/Classes will take place during the day and every 3rd Saturday. Artist Showcase will take place during the day and every 3rd Sunday each month from May to October 2024. The minimum commitment is 5 - 6 hours a month (at least one Saturday or Sunday).
