Airswift is in search of a Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with one of our key clients in New Braunfels, TX, on a 12-month contract-to-hire arrangement. The role operates from the office Monday to Friday.

This Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with Engineering and formulating Equipment and solutions for CO2 liquefaction Plants, Industrial refrigeration systems, and LNG Plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently contribute to the design and advancement of equipment necessary to fulfill customer requirements and market needs
  • Conduct Mechanical design calculations for Compressors, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Separators, Dehydration Units, Skids, etc.
  • Create engineering documentation such as datasheets, drawings, or other essential data
  • Collaborate with various vendors, third-party contractors, and inspectors to adhere to schedules and deliverables
  • Utilize existing manufacturing/business systems for cost, inventory, and procurement details
  • Ensure accountability for produced deliverables and maintain their standard

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in Mechanical Engineering within the Oil & Gas sector is essential
  • Possess a foundational understanding of the technical facets of mechanical engineering and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office software
  • Capability to undertake 20% or more travel annually for on-site project engagements
