POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Manager, Aftermarket is in charge of leading the effort to increase the company's sales and distribution. This involves acquiring clients, scheduling demonstration appointments with key executives, and establishing revenue growth goals. The individual will kick off key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful implementation of these strategies is essential to reach the financial objectives. Responsibilities include achieving monthly targets, building strong relationships, and grasping customer patterns. The ideal candidate is expected to be based in North Carolina and will need to travel frequently using the company car.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive the team's performance to reach challenging growth targets.
  • Collaborate with pricing, marketing, and product teams to provide compelling proposals, tactical sales and marketing initiatives, and guide product and contract strategies to ensure they align with customer requirements.
  • Aid in developing revenue and business plans and continuously monitor operations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with customers to comprehend their business requirements and goals.
  • Effectively convey the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Gather market insights and relay them to the marketing team.
  • Establish and nurture a strong team of leaders; including recruiting, training, and grooming future leaders.
  • Contribute to building an effective team of staff by actively engaging in their well-being, safety, and growth.
  • Predict future sales accurately and devise sales strategies to adapt to ongoing changes in the market.
  • Proactively address business issues that hinder the organization from achieving sales objectives.
  • Any other tasks as designated.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree; otherwise, relevant experience is mandatory.
  • Should have a robust background in regional sales (B2B).
  • Experience in leading and boosting the sales performance of remote teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Highly driven with a history of surpassing targets.
  • Capable of communicating, presenting, and influencing all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide the sales process through appointment scheduling.
  • Proven capacity to articulate the unique aspects of products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to position products against rivals.
  • Proven track record as a sales leader, devising client-oriented, distinctive, and attainable solutions.
  • Outstanding listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
