- Customer Insights: Gather customer needs through market research, industry events, and direct engagement.
- Data Management: Employ CRM tools to manage data effectively, supporting territory oversight.
- Reporting: Complete monthly reporting requirements to document successes and opportunities within the customer base.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating new business within the food processing sector.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and processes relevant to capital equipment.
- Analytical skills for conducting market research and competitor analysis.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Preferred candidates may have an engineering or technical background, particularly in food processing.
- Competency in forecasting and planning is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in food processing and capital equipment sales.
Employment at Cantrell-Gainco is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
