Here are the areas you will focus on:
  • Revise existing components for engineering enhancements or program upgrades.
  • Operate and uphold a range of diagnostic and reference instruments.
  • Contribute to creating tooling and fixtures essential for executing engineering modifications.
Necessary qualifications for this role:
  • Completion of an Associate degree (AA) in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field, coupled with a minimum of 6 years of experience in constructing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical and fluidic systems and subsystems, preferably within the medical device/diagnostics realm.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, CAD files, technical literature, and manuals.
  • Proficient in utilizing lab testing equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Additional experiences that would be beneficial:
  • Developing bills of materials, assembly guides, installation instructions, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with GD&T tolerance and dimensioning.
  • Strong computer skills including expertise in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
