Position Overview:

We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Marine Engineer to contribute to our operations at SeaHunter Boats. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of marine manufacturing techniques and technologies, emphasizing the enhancement of efficiency and product quality within our production framework. As an integral part of our organization, you will be tasked with devising and executing innovative strategies to refine manufacturing workflows, ensuring the delivery of superior products that meet client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, troubleshoot, implement, and perpetually enhance the processes, speed, and quality of the assembly line to optimize production timelines.
  • Foster a work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and individual expression while ensuring alignment with corporate and process advancements.
  • Identify the most effective tools for various tasks and oversee their utilization and storage.
  • Review components and procedures related to designs introduced in production.
  • Assist in resolving engineering challenges that may disrupt production schedules.
  • Prepare and submit engineering change requests and notices for technical issue resolutions.
  • Provide technical support and project management for assigned engineering initiatives.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong collaborator with the capacity to build effective relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent time and project management skills; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and inspire a team.
  • Capability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Composed under pressure and able to maintain calm in challenging situations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with Solidworks and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of CNC Programming.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marine manufacturing technologies, processes, and principles.
  • Familiarity with product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing for industrial equipment, with knowledge of both traditional and advanced manufacturing methods.
