SUMMARY

The Partner Engagement Representative (PER) of Paul Carlson Partnership (PCP) will establish and/or renew relationships with key constituency (donors, churches and/or groups) to improve engagement with PCP mission.

The PER will identify donor engagement strategies that advance PCP efforts and reenergize donor base resulting in an actively, engaged network sustaining the mission of PCP.

In collaboration with PCP team, this position will engage in outreach and communication efforts throughout the US to help raise awareness, understanding and engagements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Identify and develop donor relation strategies which help improve PCP's donor management methods and systems.
  • Collaborates with staff to foster strategies and outcomes that improve processes and protocols resulting in a higher level of engagement, collaboration, and fundraising outcomes.
  • Enhance partner engagements and sustainability for the mission by cultivating and nurturing relationships with major donors, as agreed upon with the Executive Director.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of the appropriate solicitation strategies for both current and newly identified donors, churches and/or groups.
  • Help increase annual unrestricted and donor directed giving, as defined by annual workplans, objectives and goals.
  • In collaboration with PCP staff, engage in individual, small and large group presentations of PCP mission and efforts at Serve Globally and Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) events and local churches.
  • Meet with constituents and donors in person, as needed.
  • Formulates monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports on developments and outcomes, as requested by the Executive Director.
  • Knowledgeable and adherence to Code of Ethics for fundraising professionals.
  • Complies with ECC's donor engagement and acknowledgement protocols and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Paul Carlson Partnership.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Business Administration, Development, Ministry, and/or related field. At least five (5) years of related donor relations and/or fundraising experience. Strong understanding of development principles and proven ability to successfully translate theory into practice. Membership in an ECC church is a requirement of the position.

  • Personal and demonstrated personal Christian faith.
  • Commitment to the ECC, the mission of PCP, and to the larger mission of the Serve Globally mission priority.
  • Strong leadership, organization, prioritization and time management skills.
Attention to detail with high level of accuracy in the preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence.

  • Excellent oral, written and digital communication skills to perform all
communication functions of the position. Continuously develops computer skills to further enhance communication abilities.

  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality always.
Talks to others to convey information effectively and efficiently. Responds appropriately and adjusts actions in relation to others' actions. Effectively presents information to audiences with diverse backgrounds, experiences and contexts.

ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
Able to work well in a professional office setting. Able to travel domestically, frequently and on occasion, internationally. Must be versatile and able to work for prolonged segments sitting or standing.

Must engage frequently with office tools and equipment, such as:
computer, copier, phone, web-conferencing equipment, cell communication, printers, etc. Must be able to occasionally lift or move items, infrequently more than 35 pounds.
