How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Design and maintain control system software and hardware used in industrial gas automation equipment. This will include requirements creation, code development, test plan execution and remote/onsite customer assistance in the deployment of solutions used in the field.

  • Developing and documenting functional requirements for new and existing systems
  • Development of code to ensure functional requirements are satisfied based on project schedules
  • Creation and execution of test plans to verify and validate code development
  • Design and development Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications
  • Design and development of Control System software for PLC and/or PC based systems
  • Design and review of Instrumentation & Input/Output Network Architecture
  • Troubleshooting of systems including industrial electrical control panels using wiring diagrams, schematics, layouts and drawings
  • Creation of technical documentation and information required by team, field and management
  • Provide on-site assistance during Start-Up, Commissioning, and Maintenance of systems
  • Estimating project effort (time, material) and regular reporting of project status
  • Travel up to 15% annually, and up to 50 percent for short durations
Are you a MATCH?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering, or related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and/or training and education
  • 5-12 years experience with industrial automation (e.g., PLCs, DCSs) (required)
  • 3-8 years experience with C# and .NET programming (required)
  • 2-5 years experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL (required)
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills (required)
  • Ability to develop applications with minimal supervision (required)
  • Ability to interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) (highly desirable)
  • Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) experience (highly desirable)
  • Modbus experience (highly desirable).
  • Web (ASP.NET MVC) development experience (desirable)
  • Robotics programming experience (desirable).
  • Gas Control Systems & Thermodynamics experience (desirable)
  • Experience with Git or other software version control systems (desirable)
