Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Hanwha Aerospace USA. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft engine components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and company specifications.
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures to verify the accuracy and quality of components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless quality control processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge of blueprint reading, machinery limitations, and quality control principles.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, technical documents, and quality control procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull at least 35 pounds, and to stand, walk, and move about the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CMM experience with PC-DIMS or similar software.
  • CMM programming experience.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry, preferably in the overhaul and repair sector.
  • FAA Repairman's certificate.
  • Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney, GE, Sikorsky, and SNECMA requirements.
