We are partnering with a global manufacturer and distributor of Telecom equipment to add to their Engineering team.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate in the $30 range, with a standard schedule of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
As an Engineering Assistant, you will provide critical support to the engineering team on various projects, ensuring timely updates and driving projects to completion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting customer drawing specifications and conducting research to inform project decisions
- Performing environmental and product performance tests to ensure quality standards
- Modifying technical documents and collaborating with quality control to ensure compliance
- Providing project updates and contributing to project goal achievement
You will work as part of a team in a lab or workshop environment, emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance.
Effective collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will work with a large team on various projects.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, proficiency in MS Office, and strong project management skills.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of ASTM Fastener Standards and ISO Standards.
