Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize processes, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
- Lead Warehouse and Labor Management Systems (WMS/LMS) Initiatives: Provide engineering support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of WMS/LMS systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with facilities, distribution, and operations teams to identify and implement changes that improve employee, facility, and system performance.
- Drive Lean Initiatives: Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve flow, resulting in increased productivity and reduced costs.
- Support Information Technology System Deployments: Provide guidance and support for the deployment of new information technology systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Develop and Maintain Metrics: Utilize data analytics to develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize CAD and Simulation Software: Leverage CAD and simulation software to optimize facility layouts and product flow, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years' experience in the distribution industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
