About the Job:

We are looking for a skillful and driven Interior Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be involved in various stages of project development, from initial design concepts to detailed development. If you have a passion for crafting practical and visually appealing spaces, we would be delighted to have you on board.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Senior Lead Interior Designer and Project Manager:
  • Collaborating with the senior lead interior designer and project manager on interior design projects
  • Engaging in design conversations and contributing innovative ideas
  • Conducting site measurements and documentation:
  • Visiting project sites to gather precise measurements for drawings
  • Recording existing conditions for future renovations
  • Creating 3D Renderings and Visual Presentations:
  • Producing captivating 3D renderings to effectively convey design concepts
  • Generating rendered images and videos for client presentations
  • Developing Design Documents and Annotations:
  • Preparing design document sheets, such as floorplans, site plans, elevations, sections, and details
  • Annotating and dimensioning floorplans, site plans, building and interior elevations, sections, and details
  • Researching and selecting materials:
  • Exploring design solutions and material options
  • Determining and documenting finishes for flooring, ceilings, walls, and millwork
  • Communicating with Clients, Contractors, and Consultants:
  • Participating in meetings with clients and consultants, and taking thorough notes
  • Sharing meeting summaries with the project manager
  • Leading meetings when necessary
  • Approving finish submissions from contractors
  • Updating consultants regarding changes in project scope
  • Responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) from contractors
  • Providing consultants with necessary drawing files (CAD, Revit, PDF) as requested
  • Preparing and delivering responses to RFIs
  • Creating Presentations for Approval:
  • Developing digital presentation packages and physical boards for clients, showcasing finish selections
  • Reviewing contractors' submissions for accuracy, requesting revisions if needed, providing approval with comments, or full approval
  • Utilizing Project Management Tools:
  • Overseeing Procore notifications related to interior design submissions
  • Adding essential users to Procore for project collaboration
  • Maintaining job site logs and ensuring regular updates in Procore
Other Responsibilities:
  • Assisting project managers in setting up and updating projects in the Ajera project system
  • Organizing the TBA materials library
  • Attending ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and dedication ceremonies for TBA projects
  • Conducting site visits for projects
  • Acting as backup for handling incoming phone calls alongside interns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Preferable experience with Procore and Bluebeam software
  • Exceptional communication abilities and keen attention to detail
