This is a medical assistant-customer service position for a Primary Care practice.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associates degree required

Duties and Responsibilities
Regular business hours are
Mondays to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm:

  • Opening Team: clock-in at 7:45 am; clock-out 4:45pm_

CORE DUTIES
- : assist with direct patient care, check in and out patients, interview them, takes vital signs, register all medical information in the electronic records.

  • Educates and advises patient about chronic conditions as instructed by the doctor.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry etc.
  • Works and completes task and messages in the electronic medical records in a timely manner.
  • Practices safety environmental and infection control methods.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Develop a broad base knowledge of all services and products offered in the practice ensuring consistency with any information delivered to patients
  • Checkin patients (i.e., greet warmly, patient registration)
  • Prep exam rooms
  • Checkout patients (i.e., schedule next appointments, lab visits etc.)
  • Confirm appointments
  • Any other assignment not listed that is required to provide customers with the best experience in the journey to enhance their own health.
