Join Our Team as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Bridgewater Interiors II


Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams in Breakthrough/Best-In-Class performance improvement on smaller scoped projects, usually within the area of the Black Belt's expertise.
  • Take action on Statements of Work once the projects are identified and acknowledged by the leader.
  • Affect Operational Cost and lead projects that fulfill the minimum economic value required.
  • Participate in project progress reviews with Master Black Belts, Champions, and other appropriate leadership levels on at least a monthly basis.
  • Effectively collaborate with team members and ensure team member involvement.
  • Recognize obstacles to project success and seek assistance from champions as necessary.
  • Educate project team members in fundamental Six Sigma principles.
  • Guide and support project team members.
  • Monitor project performance in CI database to ensure timely completion and achievement of quality and savings objectives.
  • Participate in necessary foundational training and acquire essential skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or a related field (Entry Level). Associate's degree required.
  • Experience in Six Sigma, or a related field, is advantageous.
  • Possess basic statistical understanding and the capability to grasp and apply statistics to process and product enhancement initiatives.
  • Fundamental comprehension, or the potential to grasp, Lean Manufacturing/Lean Office principles.
  • Develop into a highly proficient communicator: verbally, in writing, and through presentations.
  • Develop advanced skills in leadership, analysis, and PC applications.
  • Previous experience in plant manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Flexible to work any shift, including weekends, and may involve occasional travel.
