Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate teams in achieving exceptional performance enhancements on targeted projects, typically within the domain of the Black Belt's specialization.
  • Initiate actions on Statements of Work once projects are recognized and approved by leadership.
  • Impact Operational Costs and spearhead initiatives that meet the required economic value thresholds.
  • Engage in project status evaluations with Master Black Belts, Champions, and relevant leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure their active participation.
  • Identify challenges to project success and seek guidance from champions as needed.
  • Instruct project team members in essential Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members.
  • Track project outcomes in the Continuous Improvement database to guarantee timely completion and attainment of quality and savings goals.
  • Participate in necessary foundational training and develop critical skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred (Entry Level). An Associate's degree is mandatory.
  • Experience in Six Sigma or a related field is beneficial.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of statistics and the ability to apply statistical methods to process and product improvement efforts.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Lean Office principles or the potential to learn.
  • Develop strong communication skills: both verbal and written, as well as in presentations.
  • Enhance leadership, analytical, and computer application skills.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environments is highly valued.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, and may require occasional travel.
