Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in process improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that meet the minimum economic value required.
  • Collaborate with Master Black Belts, Champions, and other leadership levels to review project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate with team members to secure their participation and engagement.
  • Identify and address barriers to project success, seeking support from champions as needed.
  • Train project team members in basic Six Sigma methodologies and principles.
  • Mentor and coach project team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Track project performance in our CI database to ensure timely completion and achievement of quality and savings goals.
  • Participate in required training and development programs to acquire needed skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (Entry Level). Associates Degree Required.
  • Experience in Six Sigma or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Possess basic statistical knowledge and the ability to learn and apply statistics to process and product improvement projects.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Lean Office concepts is required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Plant manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and may involve some travel.
