The Advanced Sourcing Manager plays a crucial role in providing advanced sourcing support for site NPD projects. By leveraging the internal and external supply base, the ASM aims to enhance Quality and Gross Margins during new product launches. Collaborating closely with Category Managers, the ASM develops and executes sourcing strategies focused on Product Quality, Cost, Reliability, Flexibility, Risk, and Project Schedule. This role involves selection, evaluation, and qualification of suppliers, ensuring robust products from a committed supply base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supplier selection, evaluation, and development
  • Work with Strategic Purchasing Managers for alignment with commodity strategy
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving through teamwork
  • Assess and enhance suppliers' quality adherence
  • Drive cost analysis and reduction efforts
  • Provide guidance on supplier selection for optimized time to market
  • Create Statements of Work and manage costed BoM during development
  • Ensure seamless sourcing transition at new product launches
  • Collaborate with NPD project teams and key suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory activities

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing strategy development

Preferred:

Experience in commercial contract developmentBackground in international, cross-functional environmentsStrong collaboration and technical skillsExcellent communication skills
