As a Senior Analyst in Clean Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Eversource's sustainability initiatives. This position focuses on the research and development of innovative clean technology projects, including hydrogen, geothermal energy, and renewable natural gas, alongside other decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and develop projects related to Clean Technologies.
- Design and implement analytical reports, dashboards, and various reporting tools for the Clean Technologies division.
- Provide essential support and coordinate projects with various organizational partners, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Utilize internal platforms to generate actionable reports that inform decision-making.
- Oversee the planning and tracking of research, analysis, and communications related to Clean Technologies.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary processes and collaborate with external regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with counterparts in different regions to ensure alignment and best practices.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve project development outcomes that align with Eversource's priorities.
- Develop new tools and support process improvement initiatives within the Clean Technologies team.
- Facilitate training and support for team members on clean technology platforms.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Exceptional presentation skills for conveying technical and financial information.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes, particularly in the energy sector.
- Proficient in financial and statistical modeling techniques.
- Strong communication and writing abilities.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet and database management, including Excel and Power BI.
- Understanding of gas distribution systems and renewable energy sources.
Education and Experience:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, along with five to eight years of relevant experience in financial modeling, market research, or policy analysis, particularly in energy systems and decarbonization.
Compensation:
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, with an annual salary range reflective of experience and performance.
Working Conditions:
Flexibility to work on emergency restoration assignments and travel as necessary between regions is required.
