Role Overview: The Solution Design Team is in search of a dynamic and customer-focused engineering manager to lead the design and scaling of our next-generation robotic solutions.

A successful candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for developing high-performance physical systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for influencing stakeholders at all levels, alongside a proactive approach to achieving results in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and technical design leadership for a multi-disciplinary team focused on the development and deployment of next-generation robotic solutions.
  • Oversee the design life cycle process and resource allocation.
  • Recruit and nurture top talent.
  • Engage deeply with your team to drive innovative enhancements to robotic solutions utilizing advanced technology, robotics, and data analytics.
  • Make strategic design decisions by evaluating key operational and financial metrics, developing models to address complex issues, and advocating for your team's insights.
  • Foster relationships with key global leaders, partners, and customers to effectively influence and collaborate on systems design and integration.
  • Coordinate with program teams to develop next-generation product features that optimize system performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with a Master's Degree in engineering, operations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing teams of industrial engineers, process engineers, systems engineers, or related roles.
  • Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering principles, including probability and statistics, SPC, time studies, and ergonomic analysis.
  • Demonstrated project management experience across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, SmartSheet, AutoCAD, Revit, and data manipulation technologies like Tableau and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex automated material handling systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
  • Ability to apply business acumen and technical expertise to address customer challenges and anticipate future business priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with Architects, General Contractors, and Engineers on construction projects to integrate various requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
